Foreign expansion
Since 2003, Nepentes has been exporting its products to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Its selected branded products are available in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Israel, Turkey, Kazakhstan as well as in the Persian Gulf countries.
Moreover, since 2007 Nepentes has been establishing its branches and subsidiaries abroad. In 2007, subsidiaries in Romania and Bulgaria launched their operations, and Nepentes’s own sales organisation was set up in Lithuania. In 2008, subsidiaries were registered in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine.
Additionally, one of the most important events of last year was the concluding of an agreement with the Russian pharmaceutical company Akrikhin. This agreement signed with the Russian partner regards the sale of dermocosmetics manufactured by Nepentes in Russia. Emolium will be the first product to be introduced to the Russian market because there are no direct competitors for our innovative preparations on the emollient markets. We expect Emolium will be a success that will open up Russia to more dermocosmetic brands offered by Nepentes.
